"Every caterpillar has a dream, Marco," said Lucille, the beautiful lavender caterpillar. She and Marco have know each other since they were born. A day hasn't past where they weren't together. Lucille was by far more intelligent than any other caterpillar. Mostly every thing that Marco knows, was taught by Lucille.
"Every caterpillar?" Marco replied.
"Yes, Marco. Every caterpillar," said Lucille slightly shocked that Marco did have a dream like all other caterpillars. "For example, my dream is to become a beautiful butterfly with colorful wings. A butterfly like no other!"
"A butterfly? Why would you want to become a butterfly? You have to sit in a cocoon for ages first! You could die in there!" Marco shouted, scared that Lucille was actually considering becoming a butterfly.
"Yes, a butterfly. When most other creatures would die, we have a second chance. We become someone else, something else. It's magical! Instead of living our whole life on ground, we can explore the skies and discover something new with every flight! It's magical, as I said before."
Lucille's description intrigued Marco. He was too convinced that becoming a butterfly would be the right thing to do. He would be able to try something new and he would never have to be without Lucille, except the time they spend in their cocoons. Marco discovered that becoming a butterfly would be a life changing experience that he would happily share with Lucille.
Butterflies are miracles. They start as caterpillars and morph into butterflies. Miracles don't have to be a huge, live changing event, it can be as simple as a caterpillar turning into a butterfly.
