I'm Writing a Story!!!

Yup. I'm writing a story and it's very weird so far. There is a dead girl (Celia), a crazy, hipster dude (named Adam), and a truck that smells like dead cats...
yeah... here's the prologue:

I walk down the familiar streets of Downtown Detroit, the cool autumn air biting at my exposed skin. The memories these streets bring compose a slight smile upon my face. Well, not all of them. There is one that haunts me, leaves questions hanging from my lips, and keeps my broken inside. It's the memory of the day I died.

Dun Dun Dun! Pretty interesting huh?
okay bye!!!

Unknown

Don't let the title confuse you, this isn't a random post with an unknown topic, but it's simply about the unknown. Before I begin with the unknown I want to talk about fears. Some things I fear are spiders, bridges, darkness, and car accidents. I'm not afraid of them for what they are in general, but because of what can happen to me because of them. Spiders can bite me and potentially kill me, bridges could collapse right underneath my feet, something could be luring deep within the shadows, and car accidents could severely harm me or kill me. Basically, I am afraid of death and serious injuries. This is where the unknown kicks in.
A wise man once said, "It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more" (Dumbledore/Rowling). This quote is alarmingly true. Why are people afraid of the dark? Be cause they DON'T KNOW what is in it. Little kids mainly think their are monsters under their bed or in their closet, which makes those places so horrifying. It's what thy don't know that scares them. With death we DON'T KNOW how we will die, therefore we are scared of things that could potentially kills us. If we knew that we would die of a car crash, we would probably be scared of cars. However, we wouldn't be afraid of the dark because we know that there is nothing there that is going to kill us because we know we are dying of a different cause. As you can most likely tell by now, we are afraid of the unknown rather than random things in general.
Tell me, do you agree with this theory or not and why? Also, what are you afraid of and why?

synesthesia

Okay so I just remembered that I said I would make a post about synesthesia. It's basically a neurological condition in which your senses kind of overlap in a way. The most common forms are when individual letters of the alphabet or numbers are a certain color in a persons mind when they see it. For example, when I see the number 2 I see it in an orange font.  Another form is sounds that trigger images in your head. For instance, when you listen to music you could see different colors or lines or shapes. I have both of those forms of synesthesia.
Well I'm tired and I have a headache so if you want to know more, you obviously have an internet connection so try using google or bing or yahoo or some other search engine. OR you could follow this wikipedia link..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia
You're welcome.

I'M TAN-ish

It's 1:17pm on Sunday and I have school tomorrow. After having Spring Break I kinda don't want to go back. So anyways my break was awesome. I stayed at my Aunt's house for three days, which was really awesome. Her house is so pretty. I wanted to pick up her backyard and take it home with me. She lives on Davis island so she lives right down the street from a small beach. Well it's not much of a beach because there is a yacht club that takes up most of the land. Anyways, I got sunburned the first day in Florida. My left shoulder was sunburned the entire time I was gone. Now it's really tan and there is random pale areas because I didn't use the sunscreen well enough.
On Monday I left my Aunt's house and went to the golf resort that I stayed at for the rest of the week. It was really nice there. They had four swimming pools, except the one right in front of my building was freezing cold so I barely ever swam in it. My dad and I rented bikes and we rode around the resort and stuff.
On Tuesday there was a thunderstorm. Despite the weather, I went to Universal Studios. This was a super smart decision because the rain didn't last that long and the storm was far enough away that the rides were still running. Also, not as many people decided to go that day so the longest wait for a ride was 45 minutes. I was also able to go on the Dueling Dragons ride twice because there were only a few other people in line. So I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and got my butterbeer and an owl (not a real one of course). I went to Margaritaville for dinner and ate a whole cheeseburger in paradise. All in all, Universal Studios was amazing.
Wednesday and Thursday were fairly simple. Wednesday was sit by the pool or go golfing day. So I sat by the pool and read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. However, I now have a tan line on my legs from my shorts. Thursday I went to the beach and Ron Jon's surf shop. Not that excited but whateva. On the way back to the resort I was supposed to help my dad navigate, but the radio was too loud and I couldn't really hear what Selma (the GPS) was saying. I almost made us miss the exit, but my dad became smart and followed the signs to Disney World (the resort is right down the road).
Friday I went to SeaWorld! It was a lot of fun. There were a lot of people, but they were mainly little kids so the lines for the big rides were really short. I actually went on the Manta ride 7 times throughout the day. I went on the water ride twice, but the second time I was really stupid and sat in the front even though I knew I would get soaked. My clothes were wet for the rest of the day. My favorite part was petting the stingrays. I love them so much. I swam with them once a few years ago, but they are still so cool. I was really looking forward to seeing the polar bears, but when I got there they were all asleep. My day was ruined. I kept asking to go back in, but everyone else was ready to leave.
I drove back on Saturday and got back this morning at 7:30. The original estimated arrival time was 2:00, but we were in Georgia for and extra five hours due to traffic. All in all I had a great trip!
