It's 1:17pm on Sunday and I have school tomorrow. After having Spring Break I kinda don't want to go back. So anyways my break was awesome. I stayed at my Aunt's house for three days, which was really awesome. Her house is so pretty. I wanted to pick up her backyard and take it home with me. She lives on Davis island so she lives right down the street from a small beach. Well it's not much of a beach because there is a yacht club that takes up most of the land. Anyways, I got sunburned the first day in Florida. My left shoulder was sunburned the entire time I was gone. Now it's really tan and there is random pale areas because I didn't use the sunscreen well enough.
On Monday I left my Aunt's house and went to the golf resort that I stayed at for the rest of the week. It was really nice there. They had four swimming pools, except the one right in front of my building was freezing cold so I barely ever swam in it. My dad and I rented bikes and we rode around the resort and stuff.
On Tuesday there was a thunderstorm. Despite the weather, I went to Universal Studios. This was a super smart decision because the rain didn't last that long and the storm was far enough away that the rides were still running. Also, not as many people decided to go that day so the longest wait for a ride was 45 minutes. I was also able to go on the Dueling Dragons ride twice because there were only a few other people in line. So I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and got my butterbeer and an owl (not a real one of course). I went to Margaritaville for dinner and ate a whole cheeseburger in paradise. All in all, Universal Studios was amazing.
Wednesday and Thursday were fairly simple. Wednesday was sit by the pool or go golfing day. So I sat by the pool and read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. However, I now have a tan line on my legs from my shorts. Thursday I went to the beach and Ron Jon's surf shop. Not that excited but whateva. On the way back to the resort I was supposed to help my dad navigate, but the radio was too loud and I couldn't really hear what Selma (the GPS) was saying. I almost made us miss the exit, but my dad became smart and followed the signs to Disney World (the resort is right down the road).
Friday I went to SeaWorld! It was a lot of fun. There were a lot of people, but they were mainly little kids so the lines for the big rides were really short. I actually went on the Manta ride 7 times throughout the day. I went on the water ride twice, but the second time I was really stupid and sat in the front even though I knew I would get soaked. My clothes were wet for the rest of the day. My favorite part was petting the stingrays. I love them so much. I swam with them once a few years ago, but they are still so cool. I was really looking forward to seeing the polar bears, but when I got there they were all asleep. My day was ruined. I kept asking to go back in, but everyone else was ready to leave.
I drove back on Saturday and got back this morning at 7:30. The original estimated arrival time was 2:00, but we were in Georgia for and extra five hours due to traffic. All in all I had a great trip!
