Be yourself?
No one knows the real me. I'm not saying that I hide things, but everyone acts differently depending on who they are with. My theory is that the only time someone acts like themselves is when they are alone. Therefore, no one knows what anyone is really like. For example, someone may dress and act professionally when applying for a job to impress the employer, but they could spend their weekends getting drunk and playing poker all night with their friends. Who knows? Sometimes people get upset that people have multiple personalities and they act differently when they are with someone else, but everyone does it. If you are going to be mad at that person, be mad at everyone and even yourself. Don't deny it, you do it too. I don't believe in the quote, "Just be yourself, people will like you for who you are". I don't think people want others to like them, they want to appeal to others. I don't care if that makes no sense to anyone else, I'm sticking to it. I don't know how or when I started thinking about this, but I talked to my dad about it for awhile (I convinced him I'm going to be the next Dumbledore).

I agree mate, it's true but it is human nature. Furthermore if you're the next Dumbledore I wish to see your future study.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry mate, I am the next Dumbledore. I will be Headmaster of a magical school in Scotland and I will be helping some kid kill a dude that tried to kill him or her when they were only an infant :)
